Feasibility Study/Requirements Analysis

RBE Plus helps determine which SAP Standard Business Content components can be used based on current ERP usage. The starting point for a feasibility study is the availability of data for the Info Sources. Enhancements and modifications to the SAP standard are likewise examined, because they could impede the use of Business Content or require a customer model in SAP BI (actual analysis) [see also RBE Plus Potential Analysis]. This information might be necessary for Business Blueprint and the realization of requirements. A system comparison check could be carried out with RBE Plus to assess the feasibility of system separation or consolidation [see also RBE Plus Situation Analysis].

Realization/SAP BI Documentation

Whenever plans for changes are carried out in SAP BI, the following two questions are of particular importance.

1. Project Progress: What has already been carried out in the system?
2. Documentation: How will the settings be carried out, when compared to the planned specifications?

Continuous Development

Both in the realization phase and in the productive phase, it is imperative to control the status quo of BI usage and to adjust it to changing requirements.   RBE Plus delivers a structured overview of objects created in SAP SEM, such as balanced score cards, management cockpits, value driver trees and consolidation areas.

  RBE Plus uncovers the status quo of an SAP SEM system with the help of goal-oriented analyses from RBE Plus. With this, project progress can be checked on a regular basis, or a productive system can be analyzed while in use. Information on (faulty) customizing, (superfluous) objects and usage of SAP SEM applications help the system to develop and improve itself continually.

  A detailed overview of the customizing settings currently available in the SAP SEM system can be used to check the planned concept as well as for documentation.
