RBE Plus employs special check steps to determine which master data, processes and process steps from those contained in the SAP Solution Manager’s Business Pro-cess Repository (BPR) are active in an SAP system. These results are then imported via the interface, designed jointly with SAP AG, to an existing SAP Solution Manager project, thus creating an individualized process model of the analyzed system (Blue-print).

The decisive factor here is that by importing the RBE Plus results, the original BPR elements are copied into the project-specific Blueprint, enabling the entire functional scope of the SAP Solution Manager to be utilized to its full extent. SAP has provided unrestricted content for each of these elements (master data, processes, process steps), designed specifically for the particular element in question (documentation, transactions, configuration elements, test cases, etc.).

Another advantage of this type of importing is that elements copied from the BPR into the project-specific blueprint can be upgraded. This means that all upgrade and matching functionalities contained in the SAP Solution Manager are also available for the imported process model for times when you need to implement an SAP Solution Manager release upgrade, for instance, or when you want to incorporate a new SAP content release to add information or customize it for specific elements.

RBE Plus for the SAP Solution Manager provides the best way to create an au-tomatic process model verified with actual data.

New import program for the integration of RBE Plus results into SAP Solution Manager is now available

With Support Pack 09 SAP provides a new report to import RBE Plus results in the SAP Solution Manager. The new features are as follows:

• You can now enter the project header data at the very beginning of the import process. This means you do not need a defined project before starting the import.
• You can assign your logical components relevant for the blueprint elements at the beginning of the import process. The import automatically creates the right logical components in the project landscape according to your assignment. This means you do not have to replace the default components delivered in the xml file after the import. 

Requirements of RBE Plus’s automatic depiction of the process landscape in the SAP Solution Manager are:

• SAP Solution Manager version 7.0 SP12 and
• SAP Solution Manager content release ST-ICO 150.
